Let's all take a cracking good look at the new budget. There seem to be a few questions being raised, including how a government organiazation can get away with leaving numbers out.

I did find it interesting that, during the move to the new data center, VITA promises the computer outage for the Commonwealth will only last up to 48 hours. I assume the Executive Branch doesn't mind being offline for two days..?
Yeah, right... Maybe if it occurs over the Christmas holiday or something...
I was under the impression that the Executive Branch was going to be exempt from VITA, Has this changed?
Why are the not simply migrating services over in reasonably-sized chunks after the new location is set up?
Oh yeah, I forgot; they've never really understood the concept of "reasonably sized chunks". All agencies are the same, etc. No sense of relation or proportion.
I think the executive branch is the ONLY group under VITA isn't it? I believe the decentralized colleges and agencies are still on their own.
It's interesting to me that when any articles come out about how many separate systems there are/were they seem to be including those agencies that will not be required to work with VITA.
I could be wrong on both points though... Anyone know where the real numbers may be found?
