Expect the Best = Expect Delays

Virginia's government will no longer be told to expect the best from the state's IT agency.
The Virginia Information Technologies Agency has quietly dropped "Expect the best" as its signature slogan.
While saying the internal criticism from customer agencies did not prompt the change, the state's IT organization admits its consolidation and outsourcing has been a rough road.
"It will get tougher before it gets easier," said Lemuel C. Stewart Jr., the state's chief information officer, in VITA's customer newsletter this month. "Expect delays."

I have told them (VITA/NG) over and over to change it to "Expect Mediocrity" and this dropping of the motto would never have been an issue to the partnership.

Oh well, lessons well learned.
