What's wrong with chocolate?

The mayor of New Orleans has provoked new outrage by calling Hurricane Katrina God's punishment for invading Iraq and insisting the city become "chocolate" again.

I know I'm probably missing the point here, but I thought this was pretty funny. Not the part about God being so political that he'd throw hurricanes due to American foreign policy, but remaining strangely silent when the dodo vanished off the face of the earth. I mean, that's funny too, but not the Big Funny.

There's nothing more entertaining than a politician who doesn't know when to shut up, or who thinks anything that passes through his mind is a gem of wisdom. Chocolate? Should it be straight chocolate, dark chocolate, or white chocolate? Is nueget included? Any caramel? And does it have to be ice cream? What about soft serve? You can now get soft serve with that swirly mix, so wouldn't that be more politically correct? And where does sherbert fit into all of this.

These are the burning questions of our times.

I like how he tried to cover by describing making chocolate milk with brown chocolate and white milk and mixing it up.
